Gonna be a rush job this week

Being that I’ve gotta go into the Dr tomorrow for a medical procedure that will put me under sedation, getting this week’s episode all edited and posted will be a bit hurried.

That being said, the room sound treatment should help a great deal.

*fingers crossed*

Two Weeks

That’s right! Just two weeks to button up our Indiegogo campaign.

However, it COULD be shorter.

We just have to reach $600 more to reach our goal.

Let’s do some maths, shall we?

To cover the rest of the campaign out we would need abou $43 per day for the next 14 days to summit our $2000 goal.

If we could find a $50 contributor each day for the next 12 days, we’d get there.

We could easily do it in 8 days with a $75 contributor each of those days.

And, at our final level, $100…we could make that in…(subtract the cosine, double the hypotenuse, extrude the coefficient, carry the pi)…SIX DAYS!!!

All maths aside, thank you to everyone who has contributed and/or shared our campaign.  We do truly appreciate all of you!

Please do continue to share and help us get to our goal.

Thanks,

Dean

No new HAYN episode this week…

I know I’ve stated this a time or two over social media in the last week, but, if you were expecting a new How Are Ya Now? episode today only to find yourself terribly shocked to not find one, you now know that we aren’t releasing an episode this week.  I (Dean) had to take a business trip to Atlanta that kept me from being able to record.

We will, however, be recording with Aaron Farris this Sunday to chat about Season 4, Episode 6:  Great Day for Thunder Bay.  The episode will include music from The Highway Thieves.

Just for your BTW, these dates will also not have new episodes:

10/03/2019 – End of season prep for the recap show the next week.

10/17/2019 – A break before starting the next season. It also gives us time to get caught up and start booking for SEASON 7!!!

12/12/2019 – End of season prep for the recap show the next week.

12/26/2019 – A break before starting the next season.  It’s also the holidays, ya degen!

Side note:  I will be filling in as host/producer for the Pop Psych 101 podcast.  You should definitely check it out.

Here’s a description of the show:

Pop Psych 101 is a weekly mental health podcast hosted by Therapist, Ryan Engelstad, and advocate, Mike Graham. In an effort to educate and normalize, they talk candidly about mental illness through the lens of books, movies and television. Common pop culture mental health tropes are analyzed, and the accuracy of their portrayals are in question, for better or worse.

Pop Psych can be raw and real, and very serious, but it can also be very funny. If we really want to normalize the conversation on mental health, then we need to have real and normal conversations.
