I know we were off for a week, but this week we do absolutely have a new episode coming out.
We will be talking about the season 4 finale; Great Date for Thunder Bay with our good friend Aaron Farris. We also have music by The Highway Thieves.
Be ready for Thursday, ya degens!

Being that I’ve gotta go into the Dr tomorrow for a medical procedure that will put me under sedation, getting this week’s episode all edited and posted will be a bit hurried.
That being said, the room sound treatment should help a great deal.
*fingers crossed*

I know I’ve stated this a time or two over social media in the last week, but, if you were expecting a new How Are Ya Now? episode today only to find yourself terribly shocked to not find one, you now know that we aren’t releasing an episode this week. I (Dean) had to take a business trip to Atlanta that kept me from being able to record.
We will, however, be recording with Aaron Farris this Sunday to chat about Season 4, Episode 6: Great Day for Thunder Bay. The episode will include music from The Highway Thieves.
Just for your BTW, these dates will also not have new episodes:
10/03/2019 – End of season prep for the recap show the next week.
10/17/2019 – A break before starting the next season. It also gives us time to get caught up and start booking for SEASON 7!!!
12/12/2019 – End of season prep for the recap show the next week.
12/26/2019 – A break before starting the next season. It’s also the holidays, ya degen!
Side note: I will be filling in as host/producer for the Pop Psych 101 podcast. You should definitely check it out.
Here’s a description of the show:
Pop Psych 101 is a weekly mental health podcast hosted by Therapist, Ryan Engelstad, and advocate, Mike Graham. In an effort to educate and normalize, they talk candidly about mental illness through the lens of books, movies and television. Common pop culture mental health tropes are analyzed, and the accuracy of their portrayals are in question, for better or worse.
Pop Psych can be raw and real, and very serious, but it can also be very funny. If we really want to normalize the conversation on mental health, then we need to have real and normal conversations.

It’s been a hard time for me to be away from the show. I really enjoy making this silly show with the love of my life. I hope you all like it as much as we like making it.
Side note: I’ll be recording my first guest hosting episode with Pop Psych 101 this Thursday. It’s an excellent show! If you get a chance, you should listen to it.
Talk to y’all later!

I like being ahead of things. If I’m not early for something I feel late (just ask Tiara). So, with that being said, I’d like to get a jump things and see if anyone has any observations, thoughts, theories, trivia, or questions about our next episode. Either leave them in the comments here or email them to us at: hosts@howareyanowpod.com and we’ll give you a shout-out during the segment.
Thanks,
Dean
